What's the difference between Day-pass and Member?

Day-pass is free use of any tool on our site (focusadvice.tech). You can run a tool with a client in our showroom, free, no signup. We ask you for feedback in return. Member is when you buy a licence and embed the tool on your site — your branding, your domain, your contact details in the footer, leads coming to you instead of bouncing back to us.

Is Day-pass going to stay free?

For now, yes — that's how we get advisers using the tools and telling us what works. We may price use on focusadvice.tech in the future as the showroom evolves, and if we do, we'll say so loudly first. Member pricing for embedded use stays as published.

What does "three default brands" mean?

Every Member tool ships with three pre-built brand looks: Focus House (the warm orange Focus brand, with a small "Powered by Focus" badge), Daylight (a light, neutral palette), and Nocturne (a dark, considered one). You pick whichever fits your site; you don't have to send us a brand bundle to get something that looks professional. Custom brand-matching beyond these three is a Patron-tier service while we build the brand editor.

I want to take the tools but don't want to pay to brand them yet — can I do that?

Yes, of course. We ship the tools with your choice of three free brand looks — Focus House (our orange brand), Daylight (a light neutral) and Nocturne (a dark neutral). You pick one at checkout. No brand bundle to send us, no custom-brand cost to budget for, and the embed still looks professional from day one.

If I don't want to brand the tools right now, what options do I have?

How is this different from CashCalc or Voyant?

CashCalc and Voyant are full cashflow modelling platforms — you go and use them in your back office, around £900 a year per adviser. Advice Club tools are client-facing journeys — your prospects use them on your site, before they're a client. Different job, different price, sits alongside not instead.

Can I really get a tool live on my site in two weeks?

Yes. We send you a brand-asset form (logo, two colours, font name, where leads should be sent if you've taken the lead-generation plug-in), you fill it in, we provision the embed at embed.<yourdomain> or as a subpath you control, and you drop a five-line snippet into your site. We've done this enough times to know what gets in the way; usually it's your IT team, not us.

What if the tool I want isn't in the kit?

Tell us. Most of the toolkit was built because an adviser asked. We don't build to spec for one firm, but if three firms want the same thing, we usually build it. What is Patron, exactly?

Patron is a conversation, not a productised tier. Three things Patrons typically want: a new tool, a customisation of an existing one, or pixel-perfect brand-matching beyond the three default brands. If Day-pass and Member don't fit your shape, we talk it through and quote — could be a single-tool white-label, could be every tool current and future across multiple appointed reps. Can I get the leads sent to my CRM?

The lead-generation add-on emails the calculation summary to a nominated address, or fires a webhook, when a client finishes a journey, with their consent. We don't build CRM-specific connectors; your CRM either reads inbound email or accepts webhooks, and most do. If yours doesn't, that's a Patron conversation.

What about FCA compliance?

Tools are built to FCA standards for client-facing financial calculators: clear assumptions, no implied recommendation, calculation methodology available on request. The output is a calculation, not advice. Most embedders sit the tool behind a "this is not advice" banner; we'll help you write that banner if you want.

Can I cancel?

Annual billing, monthly notice. If you cancel mid-year, the embed keeps working until the end of the term. We don't believe in early-termination fees.

What's the catch?

Honestly, none we'd hide. Day-pass is genuinely free in exchange for your honest feedback. Member tools pass anonymised aggregate usage data back to us (numbers used, not who used them, not what they entered) so we can see which tools advisers actually use, and build the next ones better. That's it.
